For HBsAg, ICT-CLEIA is used. The HBsAg assay combines a chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay with an immunological complex transfer technique in a single step (ICT-CLEIA). By completing sample pretreatment, the assay identifies HBsAg in the absence or presence of anti-HBs antibodies (HBsAb).
